My Grandfather and Grandmother went through the hotel with a photo in his hand from when I was 6 years old. That is the last time I saw them, 16 years ago.
I could hear my Grandpa asking total strangers "Have you seen my Granddaughter?"
My grandfather is so proud of his daughter (my mother) for doing everything she could to protect his grandchildren. Its funny how after all these years, they are still my Grandpa & Grandma.
(Please note that this is my mom's father and step-mother. This is not the family she lived with and was abused by when she was a child.)
